
Common Name: Purple Inch Plant
Scientific Name: Tradescantia zebrina
A beautiful trailing plant from Central and South America, that lives in wetlands and rainforests. Inch plants are fast growing (usually found in thickets) with deep purple, silver and green striped leaves that make great hanging baskets and indoor houseplants.

Care Tips
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: When top 2” of soil is dry. Be careful not to overwater.
Indoor: 7-10 days
Outdoor: 5-7 days
Use the finger method or a moisture meter to test the soil, as various pots/top dressings, as well as placement in your space will determine how often it needs to be watered.
Temperature: 55°-85°, overwinter indoors
Humidity: Average to High. Mist regularly in dry conditions.
Fertilize: Every month in the spring/summer or during heavy growing periods.
Repot: Spring and Fall, if plant is too big for pot or roots are growing out of drainage holes.
