A small shrub naïve to the forests and flats of Central and Northern California and Oregon with narrow, grooved leaves in various shades of brown and olive green. Yerba Santa is considered a natural remedy for respiratory illnesses and a holy herb that can be dried and burned to cleanse a space of negative energy.
