Uses:

• Tea - Expectorant for Coughs and Asthma

• Flowers – Early stages of cold/fever; headache, thirst, sore throat.

• Conjure up erotic thoughts
• For those easily worked up or easily angered
• Antiseptic and diuretic
• Leaves for skin infections (flowers and leaves) 

Scientific Name: Lonicera ssp. carprifoliaceae, japonica, periclymenum

Caution: Berries are toxic

Character: Sweet. Cold.

Constituents: Tannins, Mucilage. Sugars. Flavonoids. Salicylic Acid.
